About Kindness Rocks
A movement to spread kindness, education and youth leadership.
Kindness Rocks is a movement to spread kindness through sharing rocks with inspirational images or messages in local communities. Kate had the idea of sharing these rocks to brighten someone's day and give them hope and friendship when least expected. This effort stems from her love of rocks, a growing interest in geology and her status as a kindness champion in her class. Kate is championing four missions: Kindness, Community, Food Insecurity and Girls in STEM.

Past Events
Kindness
One simple act of kindness can change someone's day and enough experiences can lead to a lifetime of kindness to others. Through activities and exposure from a young age we can create future generations of kindness champions.
Community
Learning as a child that communities are people living, learning and working together can instill an attitude of empathy and service. Working together and helping one another in community service can transform a community, make all feel welcome, valued, and can even provide an opportunity to those who are in hardship.
Food Insecurity
1 in 6 people don't know where their next meal is coming from. All of us can work together to help address food insecurity in our community and ultimately around the world. See what you can do in your community.
Girls in STEM
The long-standing stigma and exclusion of girls in STEM can be made a thing of the past for future generations of girls. Sharing passion and exposure at a young age can empower and inspire girls, leading them to careers and future opportunities in STEM.
